I am a postdoctoral researcher at the RAND Corporation. My research focuses on labor and public economics, with a particular emphasis on education. Using quasi-experimental methods, I study how education policies shape students’ pathways from schooling to the workforce, and how even modest changes in educational environments can have long-term consequences for economic mobility. My work has been supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Urban Institute.
I received my PhD in economics from the University of Maryland in December 2025, and my BS in economics from The Ohio State University. Prior to my graduate studies, I was a Data Analyst at the University of Michigan's Youth Policy Lab and a math teacher in New Orleans, LA.
